Dear Serving Success Customers,
We are proud to announce the latest version of Serving Success has been
installed on your system today! This update will add a number of new
features and resolve some bugs that will make Serving Success more reliable
and feature rich. The purpose of this email is to provide you with all the
information you will need to access the latest features. If you have any

New Features:
The following new features
have been added to serving success:

Hourly Reporting
- A new report is available through the reporting Back End that reports
the category and overall totals for the sales hour-by-hour for the
selected date.

Recovery Screen
- If at any point Serving Success becomes unresponsive and you need to
close the program you can touch the corners of the screen in clockwise
order starting at the top-left to launch a recovery screen that will
allow you to close the program and restart it.

Receipt Headers and
Footers - A new configuration screen that can be
launched from the
Printer
Configuration within
Manager Functions
can be used to add restaurant information or any other
messages you would like to the top
or bottom of
customer receipts. Lines of text added to the headers section will be
printed centered at the top of the receipt and lines added to the footer
section will be printed centered at the bottom.

Multiple Servers
Displayed Per Table - The backgrounds of the tables
that are assigned to more than one server will now cycle through the
colors of all servers assigned to it, instead of only showing the color
of the last server assigned to it.

Updated Ticket Manager
- In addition to the tickets now being sort-able by clicking on the
column headings, there is an option to reassign any ticket (even closed
ones) to an existing table and server so that they can be edited again.

Automatic Restore of
Corrupt Database Files - If the program crashes or is
shut down improperly and one or more database files become corrupt they
will be automatically restored
from their backup files on disk and will no longer require technical
support to manually restore.
Bug Fixes:

The program will no longer lock employees
out after a new day has been started
-
The program will no longer crash if
multiple copies are opened.

If the user attempts to open a second
copy of the program it will notify them that the program is already
running.

The program will no longer crash on start
up if there is no backup table for an empty table.
